Outreach Services

Once our young people move into independent living accommodation Sarinitiy continues to provide support through our outreach services. Our outreach staff focus on making sure individuals can sustain independent not just in the short term but the long term as well. Key workers help individuals claim any welfare benefits available to them, help and advise them in engaging in education, employment training, and community services and most importantly support them in managing their finances. Helping them understand the difference between necessary and desirable expenses, and how to avoid  debt, are essential to achieving independent living.  We are available to the young person for as long as they feel they need support.

At Sarinitiy Homes (SH)) we offer an outreach service for those young people who may live independently but still need that extra support with their transition to independence. We provide a high-quality, tailor-made outreach service that is flexible, empowering and needs based.

SH’ work with young people is underpinned by the five outcomes of Every Child Matters. We work closely with Local Authorities, family members and other professionals so that the young people receive a holistic, consistent service that is focused on achieving and sustaining outcomes.

Individual monthly reports are provided to social workers/personal advisors and give a comprehensive narrative on the young person’s progress and opportunities for future development, as well as recommendations for additional support.  Serenity homes reports are comprehensive and informative providing details of the services we provide.

When the outreach service is no longer required serenity will do a final review of achievements and progress with recommendations in a report that can be used by other agencies who can take the young person on the next part of their life journey.

Each social worker/personal adviser will be sent a monthly report and chronology that outlines the young person’s progress and areas of future development. Our staff team are trained to produce high quality, comprehensive and detailed reports that reflect the service we provide to support young people in achieving and sustaining positive outcomes.
